Volt Berlin Nominates Rainer Seider as Candidate for Berlin State Assembly Elections

Volt Berlin has nominated Rainer Seider as its candidate for the upcoming elections to the Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin (Berlin State Assembly), scheduled for 20 September. The nomination was confirmed by the party’s General Members Assembly, underscoring Volt’s growing presence in Berlin’s political landscape.

Founded as Europe’s first pan-European political party, Volt Europa promotes a policy agenda centered on European integration, individual freedom, sustainability, and innovation. The party positions itself as pragmatic and progressive, seeking to modernize governance and strengthen democratic participation across Europe.

Volt’s strategic vision frames Berlin as a forward-looking European metropolis, combining economic competitiveness with social inclusion, modern digital administration, environmental sustainability, and equal opportunities. Volt has established notable links within Germany’s business community, particularly in Berlin.
