Denmark is positioning its agri-food companies to tap into South Asia’s fast-growing food and agriculture market through a dedicated business presentation organized by the Trade Council of Denmark. The initiative is led by the Food and Agriculture Advisory team of the Trade Council in South Asia, in collaboration with the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and Agro Food Park.
The presentation, titled “From Farm to Food Systems: Market Opportunities for Danish Solutions in South Asia,” will be held on March 20, 2026, at Agro Food Park, Aarhus. It aims to provide Danish companies with practical market intelligence, commercial insights, and entry strategies for South Asia, one of the world’s most dynamic agri-food regions.
The session will outline concrete business opportunities across key agri-food value chains, including primary agriculture, dairy, poultry, beverages, aquaculture, seafood, and food safety and hygiene. South Asia’s rising population, expanding middle class, and increasing focus on food security and sustainability are driving strong demand for modern, efficient, and climate-smart solutions—areas where Danish companies hold competitive advantages.
Key solution segments to be highlighted include bio-solutions and ingredients, breeding and genetics, hybrid seeds, bio-pesticides and bio-fertilizers, climate-smart digital tools, stable and housing equipment with advanced ventilation, agri-industrial machinery, food processing and testing technologies, cold storage and quality control systems, aquaculture and fisheries solutions, as well as farm waste, wastewater, and waste-to-energy solutions such as biogas.
In addition to market demand analysis, the presentation will address regulatory landscapes, partnership models, and financing frameworks supporting market entry and scaling. Denmark’s ongoing support mechanisms—covering government-to-government cooperation, sustainable green engagement frameworks, and research funding—will also be highlighted as enablers for commercial expansion in the region.
Danish companies interested in exploring partnerships, investments, and export opportunities in South Asia are encouraged to contact Sakib Chowdhury, Trade Advisor at the Trade Council of Denmark in Dhaka, for further information.
